Garrett Watts was born on June 15, 1989 in Memphis, Tennessee, the USA. He has a brother whose name is Andrew. He attended high school in Mesa, Arizona, and later attended University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied filmmaking. He was a famous Viner in the past and is an avid Harry Potter fan. Ambitious from a young age, he bagged his first job when he was just 14. Watts is good friends with a number of YouTubers including Andrew Siwicki. He is openly gay and his ex-boyfriend Shane Dawson has appeared in a number of his YouTube videos.
Garrett Watts launched his self-titled channel on May 30, 2012. His first video was 'Coco Goes to Target', a video in which Coco Peru, the drag persona of American actor Clinton Leupp goes to Target to shop. This was followed by a similar video titled ‘Coco Goes to Walgreens’. On June 24, 2016, Watts posted an introduction video in which he welcomed his YouTube audience. Soon after this, he started his "Will It Combo?" series. This series included videos, such as ‘Ice Cream Nachos- "Will It Combo?,” “Reese’s Pizza- "Will It Combo?," and ‘Deep Fried Halloween Candy "Will It Combo?" The series was a major hit and garnered hundreds of thousands of views in no time. Watts continued with the series and also simultaneously posted a wide variety of other content like his tiny house tours, gold bike tours, and so on. These videos became massive hits and eventually garnered Watts millions of followers. Currently, the YouTuber’s hub has more than 2.4 million subscribers and over 70 million views.
Two of the recent uploads on his channel are 'Organizing My Insane Hoarder House In 24 Hours' and 'Going Through My Cringey Old High School Cell Phone'. While the first vlog features Watts organizing his house, the second one features him exploring his old high school cell phone. Both of these videos are interesting to watch. They have over 3 million and over 2.6 million views respectively as of September 2018.
