Felicity Blunt

Felicity Blunt was born on January 8, 1981 in London, United Kingdom. Her mother, Joanna Blunt, is a former actress and teacher, while her father Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, a barrister, had served as Queen's Counsel. She is the eldest of her parents' four children and has two sisters, Emily and Susannah, and a brother named Sebastian. Her sister, Emily, and her brother, Sebastian, are actors. She attended Westminster School in London and later completed her graduation from the University of Bristol with a degree in law.

After completing her studies, Felicity Blunt began her professional career by training as a barrister in London. She then worked as an intern at Wylie Agency, followed by another internship at Curtis Brown in 2005. She eventually joined the company as a fulltime employee and served as an assistant to Vivienne Schuster, another experienced agent of the company. She has been working there ever since and has represented a host of young authors. However, while she is successful in her own field, she often has to tolerate being called by her sister Emily's name. She considers herself privileged to represent the Estate of Daphne du Maurier. Thanks to her job as a literary agent, she has developed a strong love for reading books. She is continuously reading different kinds of books, even those that she doesn't represent, to keep the interest growing, as well as to avoid monotony. She is interested in fiction from different genres, including psychological suspense or thrillers "where peril or risk is introduced to a domestic setting", "historical fiction that transports you to another time" and women's fiction executed with "humour, pathos and intelligence". While she did not represent these, she loves books like 'The Martian' and 'Gone Girl'.

In 2011, media outlets reported that Felicity Blunt got engaged to American actor Stanley Tucci, who is 20 years older than her. The two were introduced by her sister Emily, who had co-starred with Stanley in the film 'The Devil Wears Prada', at her wedding to actor John Krasinski on July 10, 2010 at George Clooney’s home in Como, Italy. Both big foodies, they had their first date at a Notting Hill restaurant. They bonded over their shared interests in those early days when he was still mourning the loss of his first wife, social worker Kathryn 'Kate' Tucci, who died of breast cancer in 2009. Stanley eventually proposed to her in October 2011 and the two subsequently tied the knot in a civil ceremony on August 4, 2012.

His friend, Steve Buscemi, served as the best man for the wedding. A few months later, they had a star-studded wedding reception at Middle Temple Hall in London on September 29, 2012, which was attended by celebrities like Patricia Clarkson, Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep. She gave birth to their first child, a son named Matteo Oliver Tucci, on January 25, 2015 in London. They welcomed their second child, a baby daughter named Emilia Giovanna Tucci, on April 19, 2018. The second wife of Stanley, she has three stepchildren from his previous marriage: twins Isabel Concetta Tucci and Nicolo Robert Tucci (born in 2000) and Camilla Tucci (born in 2002). They currently live with their children in London.
