Felicitas Rombold

Felicitas Rombold Brühl is fiercely private about her personal life. All that is known is that SHE was born in Germany in1988. She started dating actor Daniel Brühl in 2010 and the couple got married somewhere between late 2017 to early 2018. They have a son together named Anton Hanno who was born in October 2016.

Felicitas Rombold started her modeling career after being spotted by the ‘Mia Model Agency’ in Munich, Germany. She was fresh out of school and pursuing higher studies. She went on to enjoy a hugely successful career in modeling, including appearing on magazine photo shoots and walking on the ramp for big brands. Her looks and talent even led to her appearing on Broadway. But the success she enjoyed was temporary and it was not because of a lack of opportunities or talent. While she liked the glamour of the fashion and entertainment industries, her main passion was for academics. In 2008, she completed her B.Sc. in Psychology from University of Potsdam, Germany. She then went on to work as student research assistant until September 2008, at the same university.

Following that, Felicitas Rombold went on to study M.Sc. in Psychology at the ‘Eberhard Karls University of Tuebingen, Germany’, from 2008 to 2011. However, 2010 turned out to be life changing for the budding academic. She met actor, Daniel Brühl, in 2010 and the couple has been together ever since. Daniel was at the time single, after ending a long relationship with fiancée, actress Jessica Schwarz. Even though coming from different fields, they were attracted to each other instantly. While it was her beauty and mind that attracted Daniel, Felicitas was smitten by the wit and charm of the German-Spanish actor.

Dating Daniel brought its fair share of media exposure for Felicitas. They were followed by reporters and paparazzi. However, besides appearing on red carpet events and awards shows, the couple has been able to maintain their privacy. That didn’t stop social media and Brühl’s fans from getting interested in Rombold and her beauty and grace caught the eye of one and all. Not only did she appear more confident in the limelight, but Daniel later admitted that she helped him get more comfortable with the attention and fame that comes with being an actor.

Felicitas Rombold didn’t forget about her true passion for academics on account of her new found fame. After getting her Master’s degree in 2011, she worked as a research investigator focusing on ‘Stress in Agoraphobic Patients and their Therapists’ at the ‘Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Mitte’. She reached a new career milestone when she started pursuing her ‘Ph.D. in Psychology’ at the ‘Freie Universitaet Berlin’ from July 2013. But that was not all as the talented German, graduated with a ‘Degree in Psychotherapy’ from the ‘Institute of Psychotherapy (ZPHU), Humboldt University of Berlin’ in 2016, after four years of hectic research and studies.

While she enjoyed massive success in her professional life, her personal life was also reaching happier heights. In 2016, Felicitas and Daniel announced that they were expecting their first child after she was spotted with a baby bump by paparazzi. This would force her to take a break from her academic life as well. She returned to academics in 2017 and continues to pursue her Ph.D. besides being a practicing psychotherapist. In spite of all the attention, she has kept her distance from social media and the spotlight away from her child to give him a normal and safe upbringing.
