Evelyn Lozada

Evelyn Lozada was born on December 10, 1975 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA. She belongs to Puerto Rican ancestry. In the year 2007, she moved to Miami, Florida, and was employed as a secretary by an entertainment attorney. Later, she became a co-owner of a shoe boutique, Dulce.

Once married to basketball player Chad Johnson, Evelyn Lozada made her television debut by appearing in the reality TV show ‘Basketball Wives’. This show, which follows the lives of girlfriends, wives, and ex-wives of professional basketball players, brought immense name and fame to her. After this show, Lozada was offered another reality television show. This show, titled ‘Eve and Ocho,’ which planned to follow her personal life with her then-husband Chad Johnson, never aired. In 2012, the American personality became the center of the reality television series named ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’. In this series, she discussed her personal life with life coach Iyanla Vanzant and sought emotional healing. In 2015, she appeared with her daughter, Shaniece Hairston, in the reality show ‘Livin' Lozada’.

In 2012, Evelyn Lozada posed for PETA's campaign ‘I'd Rather Go Naked than Wear Fur’. The same year, she along with her brand strategist, Courtney Parker, worked on the novel ‘The Wives Association: Inner Circle’. This novel, which was released by the Cash Money Content books, is about a young woman who dates and marries a football player and then forms a group with other sports wives—The Wives Association.
