Ellington Ratliff joined the band R5 after meeting its band members in a dance class. The band mates found him extremely talented and requested him to join their band. The band started enjoying more success after Ratliff joined them. Owing to his amazing drumming skills, he took the band’s popularity to an entirely new level. The band’s debut album ‘Louder’ reached #24 on the Billboard 200. They also released several EPs which went on to be moderate hits. These include ‘New Addictions EP’, ‘Sometime Last Night’, and ‘Heart Made up on You.’
Ellington Ratliff made his acting debut in 2001 as Robbie Crenshaw in the movie ‘All You Need’. He then appeared in season 5 of the reality dance competition ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ in 2009. The same year, he played Allan in an episode of ‘Eastwick’. Soon after this, the actor bagged roles in the TV programs ‘Victorious’ and ‘Raising Hope’.
