Elle Walker was born on July 20, 1981 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has two sisters. She studied at Stanford University and graduated with a degree in Technology and Society, in 2002. She has been married to Ross Walker since 2013, and they have three children: Presley, Ford, and Tess. The family currently resides in Westwood, California.

Elle Walker was interested in entertainment and media and worked with different production and marketing brands. She decided to explore the YouTube community in 2011 by starting her channel ‘WhatsUpElle’. Her vlogs in her early career mostly consisted of parodies, dance videos, and personal adventures. She even featured a video alongside Ashton Kutcher. Her interesting techniques and professional editing skills made her videos easy to watch. Her channel slowly began to grow popular, and she began monetizing on her videos. She had also gathered a loyal audience who eagerly waited for her videos. The collaborative parenting channel focuses on interesting projects for parents and children, personal vlogs, DIYs, recipes, tips, and other hacks that are popular among the members. This channel became a bigger success than her first channel and grew rapidly. It has over two million subscribers with most of their videos receiving a million views each. The channel is said to receive over 35 million views each month. For their fifth anniversary, they collaborated with the then first lady, Michelle Obama, who made a guest appearance in their video ‘5 Ways to Get Your Kids to Eat More Veggies’. Other popular videos include ‘MOM HACKS| Arts & Crafts’ and ‘Taylor Swift - "Blank Space" PARODY (Mom Version).’ The channel’s popularity won them a silver distinction in the Family and Parenting category of Shorty Awards. In 2017, the channel was named Forbes’ #1 Influencer in the category of parenting. The honesty and relatability of the channel is considered the reason behind its immense popularity.

WhatsUpMoms has grown so big that they recently signed three new collaborates to make their channel produce more creative and diverse content. Karen Alpert, Kathryn, and Esther Anderson are the latest collaborators of the parenting channel. They also take in regular feedback and engage with their fans. Over the years, Elle has worked with major brands across the world to create authentic content for mothers and provide more information on parenting. Elle’s success is evident in the fact that she is often called in as a speaker at various events to talk about sustaining and growing an audience on YouTube. She has also been asked by major bands like Verizon and Target to advise them about content creation on YouTube.
