Ella Bleu Travolta was born in California, USA, on April 3, 2000. Her father is ‘Academy Award’ nominee John Travolta and mother, singer-actress, Kelly Preston. She has a younger brother named Benjamin Travolta, who was born on November 23, 2010. Her elder brother, Jett Travolta was born on April 13, 1992, but tragically died at the age of sixteen on January 2, 2009.

Celebrity kids in Hollywood are often hounded by paparazzi, eager to snap pictures without a single care for their privacy or security. However, Ella Bleu Travolta grew up relatively safe, thanks to her star parents, who knew how to handle the paparazzi. In 2001, she was first seen on screen after being featured in the short documentary ‘Not Under My Roof’, which also featured her mother Kelly Preston. For the next few years, she grew up having a normal life, going to school, and sometimes being seen on the TV show ‘Entertainment Tonight’.

Ella’s elder brother Jett, who suffered from Kawasaki disease, had tragically passed away on January 2, 2009, after having a seizure and hitting his head. The rest of the year was a mental hell for the entire family and Ella was largely shielded from the media, to keep her safe and give her time to heal. Although she has never publicly spoken much about the incident, later interviews with John Travolta and Kelly Preston clearly revealed the impact of the incident on young Ella.

Ella Bleu Travolta largely stayed away from media and even social media for the next few years. In the meantime, John had started practicing Scientology and later credited it as being the healing factor for the entire family. The controversial religion seems to have worked wonders for the family as both John and Kelly went on to enjoy success after the tragic incident.

Ella is also slated to make her big acting comeback in the thriller ‘The Poison Rose’ (2019). The movie has a star-studded cast including John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Brendan Fraser, and Famke Janssen. Ella plays the lead role of Rebecca Hunt in the movie and co-stars have credited her as being a natural in front of the camera. She was seen on the red carpet for the first time since the tragic death of her brother along with the entire family, supporting her father’s movie ‘Gotti’ at the 2018 ‘Cannes Film Festival’. With her career just starting out, the young actress is one to watch out for.
