She made her debut in the film industry in 1985 with the role of ‘Abbie Grainger’ in the American/Canadian Christmas fantasy film ‘One Magic Christmas’ by Phillip Borsos. The subsequent year, she appeared in the 1986 film ‘Where Are the Children?’, an adaptation of the original novel of the same name by Mary Higgins Clark. She played the role of ‘Missy Eldridge’ in the movie.
