Eleanor Calder

Eleanor Calder was born in London, England on July 16, 1992, to Murray Calder and Kim Hickman. She went to St. Marylebone School and later received her degree in Sociology and Politics from the University of Manchester in 2014.

Eleanor Calder was studying politics and sociology at the University of Manchester, in England before meeting Louis Tomlinson, through a mutual friend in September 2011. She was also a floor model at the shop ‘Hollister’. Whatever her plans were initially changed due to her overnight fame as her relationship with ‘One Direction’ member Louis Tomlinson came into the limelight.

Once her relationship with Louis became public, Eleanor was hounded both by the paparazzi and jealous ‘1D’ fans who even set up hate accounts online to criticize her. But the pair remained strong and Louis helped her set up her Instagram account. The account started off with posts on the latest fashion trends. In the meantime, she also started the blog ‘The Trend Pear’ with her friend Max Hurd.

The blog received positive feedback from many and focused on covering not only fashion but also lifestyle trends. ‘The Trend Pear’ gained massive popularity for being one of the few blogs to showcase both male and female fashion trends in a very modern gender-neutral way. It was intended by Eleanor and Max to take away gender taboos in the fashion industry. It is safe to say that the blog was a resounding success and helped launched the careers of both the bloggers.

Eleanor now boasts a following of over 3.3 million subscribers on her Instagram and over 3.18 million on her Twitter account.In addition to fashion posts, Eleanor Calder is also an avid traveler and is often seen posting pictures of her travels to the Netherlands, Japan, Australia, and France. In 2018, she became inactive on ‘The Trend Pear’ to focus on her Instagram. These days, she is often seen modeling for different brands on her account and this has been instrumental in her growth as an individual fashion influencer.
