Eija Skarsgård

Eija is currently working as a manager in a nightclub called ‘Vardagsrummet’ in Stureplan, Stockholm. Going by her Instagram page, she is in a relationship with a person named Zeke Tastas. Eija is close to her brothers – Gustaf, Alexander, Bill, Valter, and Sam. The entire Skarsgård family makes sure they all meet up once in a while. Though her parents divorced in 2007, post which her father married another woman named Megan Everett, there is no animosity between anyone in the family. In fact, Eija and her siblings have gotten along well with their stepmother. Eija also has a couple of half-siblings named Ossian Skarsgård and Kolbjörn Skarsgård.

Though most of her family members have made a name for themselves in the field of acting, Eija Skarsgård doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of her family members. In one of her interviews, she said that she doesn’t want to venture into acting as there are already enough people in the business from her family. Eija is currently content with her life as a nightclub manager. If everything works in her favor, she might make a comeback as a model in near future.

Eija Skarsgård was born on February 27, 1992, in Stockholm, Sweden. She was raised along with her brothers in Stockholm. Eija and her siblings grew up in an environment which encouraged them to express their creativity. She spent most of her childhood with her brothers. In one of her later interviews, Eija had said that the siblings often took care of each other as their father would often travel because of his work and that their mother would mostly be absent or ill. Growing up with her brothers had a significant impact on her childhood as she often spent her time playing video games and watching action and horror movies.

Since she was born into a family of entertainers and stars, Eija’s childhood was packed with dinner parties that would often turn wild. Despite the madness associated with frequent and wild parties, Eija had a relaxed and loving household. Not only her parents, but also many of her relatives were associated with films and television series, which meant that Eija always had someone in the family to draw inspiration from. All her elder brothers had decided to pursue acting pretty early in their life and that encouraged a young Eija to pursue modeling and acting.

Eija Skarsgård was discovered by a modeling agency when she was just 14 years old. During the premiere of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,’ which had her father playing Bootstrap Bill Turner, Eija was spotted by the manager of a modeling agency. When the agency offered her a modeling assignment, Eija accepted the offer gleefully. This way, Eija started her modeling career at the age of 14. For the next four years, she went on to appear in a number of projects, including advertisements and magazine covers. However, she quit modeling at the age of 18 as she did not find it fun anymore. In one of her later interviews, she disclosed the real reason behind her decision to quit modeling. She said that she was constantly pestered to lose weight and that she was no longer having fun at work. However, she is optimistic of making a comeback as she has said that she will return to the modeling world when she feels she is ready for it.
