Egor Tarabasov

Egor Tarabasov was born in May 1993 in Moscow, Russia, to Dmitry and Elena Tarabasov. His parents run a hardware store chain and are also engaged in the construction business. His father is quite wealthy and appears in the list of millionaires from Russia.

Egor Tarabasov studied at Cass Business School, London. Following his graduation, he took up a string of internships and later went on to start his own real estate firm. He has a deep interest in horse-riding and is a highly skilled rider. As an equestrian, he was given the position of the executive director at a prestigious riding academy in Paris.

Egor Tarabasov began dating Lindsay Lohan in December 2015. The two first met in London. As the duo became a couple, their relationship started garnering media attention. However, Tarabasov was not comfortable and wished to keep everything private. In March 2016, the two moved in together. A month later, Tarabasov proposed to the American actress and she said “yes.” However, in August that year, they called it quits. The news of their breakup came out after they were spotted assaulting each other physically while on a beach holiday in Greece.

Following the breakup, many speculations surfaced. Lohan appeared on Russian TV and stated that her ex-fiancé was 'flat broke' and didn’t contribute anything to the relationship financially. She also claimed that the two used to live in her home and it was she who paid for everything, including her own engagement ring. Lohan also stated that Tarabasov hit her during their relationship. She told Channel One TV that he once broke into her house and tried to strangle her while she was sleeping.

Tarabasov, on the other hand, denied the allegations and called them 'false' and 'hurtful'. He stated that numerous attempts were being made to discredit his name by inaccurately portraying the relationship he had with the actress. The real estate entrepreneur mentioned that he chose to remain silent out of respect for Lohan. However, he also stated that he would employ all possible legal means to protect his name and reputation if someone tried to tarnish his image further.

Following his breakup from the American actress, Tarabasov’s parents expressed their happiness. His father reportedly advised him to concentrate on his work and move on to a Russian girl. Lohan is notorious for her controversial off-screen behavior; she has been arrested for driving while drunk and has been involved in other legal issues as well. Owing to her notoriety, Tarabasov’s parents were glad that their son broke up with her.
