Coming from a humble background and brought up by a single mother, Eboni feels that her mother recognised and believed in her potential and played an instrumental role in shaping her up. She expresses her gratitude for the unconditional support and affection that her mother showered on her.
There is hardly any information available on her personal life and romantic associations. However, according to some sources she is rumoured to have dated her childhood friend, Gray Sandy, and the two were many a times spotted together.
Eboni K. Williams was born on September 9, 1988, in North Carolina, United States. She is an American national with African-American ethnicity.
She was raised by her self-employed single mother who was very particular about her upbringing and studies. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a public research university from where she obtained a BA degree in Communications and African-American studies.
Thereafter in pursuit of building a career as an attorney, she got enrolled at the private law school, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and earned a Juris Doctor Degree.
While studying law she served as a clerk for the Secretary of State of Louisiana. She also worked as a law clerk at the office of the Attorney General of Louisiana for six months.
She assisted the council members of New Orleans after one of the strongest tropical cyclones, ‘Hurricane Katrina’, severely destructed the gulf coast of the US in August 2005.
She served the law firm McCraine Sistrunk Anzelmo Hardy Maxwell & McDaniel PC for four months in the capacity of a summer associate.
Thereafter, she joined the Loyola University College of Law where she served as a teaching assistant. Her responsibilities there included helping Professor and students at the time of classroom instructions as also checking and assigning grades to different writing assignments.
She became a counsel at law in 2008 dealing in civil litigation and family law. From April 2008 to May 2009, she worked in Mecklenburg Country Public Defender Office and counselled for poor clients during trials in District Court. She handled around 200 case files and also took interviews of clients both in jail and in office.
In May 2009, she started working with The Law Offices of James D. Williams Jr. where she handled the District Court and Traffic Court practice of the firm.
Eboni made a comeback to private practice in 2010. Her legal career saw her advocating for different clients in varied cases including the ones associated with rape, sex crime, drugs, homicide and federal offenses.
