Dylan Sprayberry

Dylan Sprayberry was born on July 7, 1998 in Houston, Texas, U.S. to parents Dana Muse Sprayberry and Carl Sprayberry. He has a sister, Ellery Sprayberry, who is also an actor. Dylan currently lives in Los Angeles with his parents, sister, and grandmother, Rose Mary Muse. He completed his education from West University Elementary School. After schooling, he decided to pursue a career in acting.

Dylan Sprayberry began his acting journey in the year 2007 with a short film titled ‘The Sunday Man’. Then he appeared as Young Steven in the flick ‘My Father’. The following year, he did the movie ‘Soccer Mom’ and also appeared as a ‘Goat Boy’ in the television movie titled ‘Spaced’. Around this time, he also appeared in one episode of the TV series ‘Criminal Minds’ and two episodes of ‘Tracey Ullman's State of the Union’ respectively. In 2009, Sprayberry was cast in a short film titled ‘The Honeysting’ as well as in the films ‘Reconciliation’ and ‘Old Dogs’. He also did two TV movies the same year – ‘Chasing a Dream’ and ‘The Three Gifts’. Two years later, the American actor portrayed the character of Young Lovell in the movie ‘Shuffle’. He was also given the role of Rodney in the 2011 film ‘Spooky Buddies’. In 2012, he worked for the TV projects ‘Glee’ and ‘Common Law’. Sprayberry’s breakthrough performance came in the year 2013 when he was offered the chance to play the role of 13-year-old Clark Kent in the movie ‘Man of Steel’. He joined the MTV's ‘Teen Wolf’ cast in the year 2014 and plays the character of Liam Dunbar.

In 2014, Dylan Sprayberry was nominated for a Saturn Award in the category ‘Best Performance by a Younger Actor’ for his performance in ‘Man of Steel’. Two years later, he was again nominated for the same award in the category ‘Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series’ for his TV project ‘Teen Wolf’. Besides these nominations, the young actor has also been bestowed with a tremendous amount of love by his fans. He has successfully earned a significant number of fans on the social networking platforms as well. As May 2017, Sprayberry has got 2.1m followers on Instagram. Apart from this, he has 874k followers on his Twitter handle.
