Drew Seeley was born as Andrew Michael Edgar Seeley on April 30, 1982 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He has a younger sister named Katie. In 2013, he got married to actress Amy Paffrath.
Drew Seeley started his career in the industry in 1999, through a voice role in the film ‘Camp Tanglefoot: It All Adds Up’. He then appeared in the TV series ‘Guiding Light’. In 2004, he did the television film ‘Stuck in the Suburbs’. This was followed by two more TV films ‘Locusts Willy’ and ‘Campus Confidential’ in 2005. The same year, Seeley started working with producer Ray Cham and co-wrote the song ‘Get'cha Head in the Game’ with him. This song was featured in Disney's ‘High School Musical.’
After this, the actor cum singer recorded several more songs/compositions for Disney. Some of the albums Seeley has contributed to include ‘Disneymania 5’, ‘Disney Channel Holiday’, ‘Byou’ and ‘Radio Disney Jams’, to name a few. Then in 2006, Seeley released his debut album ‘DS’. He also did the short films namely ‘Christopher Brennan Saves the World’ and ‘The Modern Unicorn's Guide to Love and Magic’ that year. The following year, he appeared in the TV film ‘Claire’.
The Canadian-American star was cast as Joey Parker in the film ‘Another Cinderella Story’ in 2008. In the summer of 2009, Seeley did Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ in which he starred as Prince Eric. The same year, he had a major role in the horror flick ‘The Shortcut’ as well as in the web series ‘I Kissed a Vampire’. After this, the versatile actor had a main role in the TV series ‘Glory Daze’ in 2010. Then his album titled ‘The Resolution’ came out in April 2011. During that year, Seeley also performed on stage in ‘Celebrity Improv Mashup’.
In 2012, he got featured as “Tommy” in the Lifetime movie ‘Talhotblond’. A year later, he did two web series ‘The Flip Side’ and ‘Minute Motivations’ as well as two television films ‘Lovestruck: The Musical’ and ‘Non-Stop’. After this, Seeley appeared in the stage production ‘Jersey Boys’ in 2014. The same year, he had a major voice role in animated web series ‘Max & Wrigley’. Then in 2015, the actor cum singer appeared in the film ‘Yellow Day’. Then he did two films ‘Union Bound’ and ‘Chalk It Up’ the following year.
