Doreen Gentzler started her career as the anchor of Georgia Public Broadcasting's show ‘The Lawmakers’. She first worked at Cleveland, serving WKYC-TV for its 6pm and 11pm newscasts. From 1979 to 1983 she served as an anchor of ABC’s affiliate in Charlotte, WSOC-TV. After that, Gentzler worked for Philadelphia's WCAU-TV.
