Diego joined YouTube in 2014 and YouNow in 2015. Although he joined YouTube in 2014, he did not start uploading content till 2015. He shot to popularity in YouNow soon after he started sharing live videos with other users. Very soon YouNow became the platform where he found fame and popularity.

Within a few months of regularly featuring live videos, his following crossed more than five hundred thousand. His live videos are generally based on his personal opinions, rants and experiences.

He clearly shows a well-developed penchant for interacting with live viewers and this is not something which everyone can achieve.

Gradually, he also started using the Twitch Love Stream app as well.

His YouTube videos have also received decent views. In his vlogs, he talks about various issues that concern regular teens like confusion about sexuality, cyber bullying and addressed speculations on whether he was actually gay.

Diego’s content is straight-forward without any funny mannerisms. He comes across to the viewers as shy and soft-spoken guy. He tries very hard to get the viewers involved in his life by sharing his opinions.

He has faced a lot of negativity from haters commenting on his looks and calling him gay. He has not let that affect his happiness and has firmly addressed all the haters with a video stating he is most definitely not gay.

He also received a lot of flak after uploading a picture kissing one of his fans while on tour. He was accused of taking advantage of her. Diego came out clean on another video where he apologized and explained his point of view that this was a normal publicity gig for people in his field. Still, he apologized for hurting people and especially his fans’ sensibilities. Honesty like that is an admirable trait in professions anywhere.

Not much is known about Diego’s background, his family or his education. It is confirmed that he was born in Colorado Springs and still lives there. Since late 2016, he has been in a steady relationship with fellow YouTuber, Taylor Skeens. Diego keeps on posting cute couple pictures of the two of them at home and while on tour to big cities like Chicago and NYC.
