Detox Icunt was born as Matthew Sanderson on June 3, 1985 in Orlando, Florida, USA, to Patty and Tom Sanderson. He has a twin brother named Michael and a sister named Heather. Icunt studied at Manatee High School and later on graduated from the South View High School in 2003. In 2009, he met with car accident and underwent a reconstructive surgery on his forehead. The American drag performer, who loves to stay connected with his fans, is active on social networking sites like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. He likes to update his profiles from time to time.
In 2008, Detox Icunt appeared in the song ‘Disturbia’ for Rihanna. Two years later, he was featured in Kesha’s tracks ‘Take It Off’ and ‘Sleazy Remix 2.0: Get Sleazier’ respectively. Then in 2011, he acted in the live adaption of the film ‘Showgirls’ which was titled ‘Showgirls in Drag’. The following year, the American artiste performed in an episode of the web series ‘Neil's Puppet Dreams’. He also got featured in Willam Belli’s track ‘Chow Down’ the same year.Soon after this, Icunt participated in the fifth season of ‘RuPaul's Drag Race’ and got eliminated in the show’s 11th episode. In 2013, he, along with a few other artistes, released the tracks ‘Boy Is a Bottom’, ‘Can I Get an Amen,’ ‘Silicone’ and ‘Blurred Bynes.’ During that year, Icunt also got featured on Lady Gaga’s ‘Applause’ (lyric video).
After this, he appeared in the body painting reality competition ‘Skin Wars’ as well as hosted the web series ‘Oh, Pit Crew’ in 2015. The following year, the American drag performer released the non-album single ‘Supersonic.’ He also participated in the second season of ‘RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars’ and came second.
