Daxton Butler

Daxton was born Daxton Charles Butler, on October 25, 2013, in Los Angeles, California. He is the youngest child and the third son of the "YouTuber" couple Shay Carl and Colette Butler. He is the only child in the family to be born in California. His siblings, namely, Emmi, Gavin, Avia, and Brock, were born either in Idaho or Utah. Daxton is the only one among the siblings to have blue eyes. He weighed eight pounds and four ounces at the time of birth, making him the heaviest of all the siblings in the family.

Daxton shares his birthday with his maternal grandmother, who died when Colette was very young. Colette’s father, Vince, and stepmother, Peggy, wanted to name him “Cole.” The name is the male version of Coleen, which was Colette’s deceased mother’s name. However, Colette did not like the idea.

Daxton is the fifth and the youngest child of the “YouTuber” family known as the 'SHAYTARDS.' Like other family channels on 'YouTube,' 'SHAYTARDS' is a channel that primarily hosts vlogs of the family’s life. Daxton was a star even before he was born. His parents announced Daxton’s mother’s pregnancy through a vlog. The whole 'SHAYTARDS' family was excited and eager to welcome the youngest member of the family. Like his elder brother Brock’s birth, Daxton’s birth, too, was documented. He was born after an induced labor. The vlog documenting Daxton’s birth is titled ‘A BABY IS BORN!’ and can be found on the family channel. After Daxton was born, his parents began documenting each and every moment of his life. The channel contains a series of vlogs dedicated exclusively to Daxton and his childhood. With numerous entertaining vlogs, which have earned millions of viewers, the channel has earned over five million subscribers. Daxton's parents have their individual 'YouTube' channels, too. His mother's channel is primarily a vlogging space and often features Daxton and his daily activities. His father's channel is dedicated to health, workout, and weight loss. In addition, his father’s channel features family vlogs, too. A few of Daxton's fans have created his fan pages on 'Instagram' and 'Twitter' to show their love and support for their favorite “YouTuber” family. The pages, however, have few subscribers at present.

Like his other siblings, Daxton, too, has a nickname. His fans call him “Brotard.” His brothers, Brock and Gavin, are known as “Rocktard” and “Sontard,” respectively. His sisters, Avia and Emmi, are known as “Princesstard” and “Babytard,” respectively. Daxton has registered his presence in a lot of events, with his parents and siblings. He attended his first 'Video Convention' when he was just a few months old. His family has been featured on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and on a number of other talk shows, too.
