Danielle Christine Fishel was born on May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona, United States, to parents Jennifer and Rick. She has a brother, Christopher Fishel. She studied at Calabasas High School. From 1999 to 2000, she was romantically associated with former 'N Sync member Lance Bass. Fishel started attending California State University, Fullerton, when she was 27 and graduated in the year 2013. During that time, she met Tim Belusko and after dating him for three years, got engaged to him in 2012. The following year, the couple got married in Los Angeles. However, Fishel and Belusko broke up in 2015 and the former filed for divorce. Their divorce was finalized in March 2016. Currently, the American star resides in Orange County, California.
Danielle Fishel began her career at the age of ten in theater where she worked in ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’ stage productions. After this, she started doing commercials and voice-overs. Soon after, she got featured on two episodes of the TV series ‘Full House’. Fishel got her breakthrough role as Topanga Lawrence-Matthews in ABC's ‘Boy Meets World’ in the year 1993. A few years later, she did the television film ‘Rocket's Red Glare’ after which she began hosting MTV’s ‘Say What? Karaoke’ in 2003. Three years later, the American star became the spokeswoman for Nutrisystem Diets after making a guest appearance on ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ in which she talked about her weight-loss after following the diet.
In 2006, she got featured in three made-for-DVD releases namely ‘National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2: College at Sea’, ‘The Chosen One’ and ‘Gamebox 1.0’ respectively. After this, Fishel began hosting the Style Network’s ‘The Dish’ which started in August 2008 and ended in March 2011. She also hosted the TV show ‘The Fuse 20’ around the same period. In the year 2012, the lady became the host of ‘Last Night on TV’. Fishel then reprise the role of Topanga Lawrence-Matthews for Boy Meets World’s spin-off series ‘Girl Meets World’ in 2014.
