In 2003, Danielle met Adam Busby at her workplace. The two eventually dated for three years before tying the knot on June 22, 2006. Shortly after their marriage, the newlyweds relocated to Houston, Texas, from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Initially the couple struggled with infertility and unsuccessful pregnancy. While Adam faced the problem of low testosterone levels, sperm count, and sperm motility, Danielle suffered from irregular ovulation. Both were placed on Clomid and after going through 5 cycles (5 months) of intrauterine insemination on Clomid and contemplating and subsequently dropping the idea of in vitro fertilization, it was decided to switch Danielle to Femara and the couple once again attempted intrauterine insemination. This time Danielle became pregnant with Blayke. Danielle and Adam welcomed their eldest daughter on April 5, 2011.
Adam did not have to go through any infertility treatment before Danielle’s second successful pregnancy. She was again placed on Femara. She became pregnant with the quintuplets in the fourth cycle of intrauterine insemination. A fitness freak, Danielle had to go on a 4500-calorie-a-day diet during this pregnancy. On April 8, 2015, at 28 weeks of pregnancy, she delivered the quintuplets through C-section. Born premature, the infants named Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige and Parker Kate had to spend the first few months of their lives in the Woman's Hospital of Texas in its neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The quintuplets were detected with a heart murmur after their birth and had to go through treatment. Following their birth Adam struggled with postpartum depression and upon Danielle’s suggestion he discussed the matter with his father. He also took professional help in this regard.
In no time Danielle became famous as the first mother to give birth to five girls as quintuplets after 1969, and the couple became the first ever American parents to welcome quintuplet daughters. Danielle and Adam landed up with the American reality series, ‘OutDaughtered.’ The TLC aired series starring the couple along with their six daughters premiered on May 10, 2016. As of September 18, 2018, the series has aired 35 episodes and is currently in its fourth season that started airing from July 10, 2018. The series has only furthered the fame of Danielle and her cute and large family.
Following the birth of their quintuplets, Danielle wanted Adam to go for vasectomy. Speculations are rife that Danielle might be pregnant again when the audience got an inkling of some sort in the teaser of ‘Outdaughtered,’ in August 2018. The scene showed Danielle again enquiring Adam on his vasectomy raising the question on the fans’ mind whether Adam had at all opted for vasectomy as advised by Danielle a couple of years ago.
Danielle has also gained decent popularity on social media. Her Instagram account, ‘dbusby,’ has accumulated more than 570K followers. Her Twitter account, ‘DanieBuzz,’ has also garnered more than 37K followers.
Danielle was born on December 23, 1983, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is quite close to her mother, Michelle, and twin sisters, Ashley and Crystal. Michelle was severely impacted by the 2017 Texas Hurricane, but she managed to overcome the impact of this natural disaster with the help of Danielle, Crystal, and Ashley and their respective husbands. Not much is known about Danielle’s father.
