Daniel Sharman

At the age of nine, Daniel knew he had what it takes to be an actor and signed up for an audition at the ‘Royal Shakespeare Company’. He was selected for the plays ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Henry VI’ out of hundreds of children. Alongside, he also attended ‘Mill Hill School’ and took special training at the ‘Arts Educational School’. Taking his education seriously, Daniel went on to graduate with a ‘Bachelor of Arts’ honors degree from the ‘London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art’. He pursued a career in acting with his debut role in the film ‘The Last Days of Edgar Harding’, and followed it up with the 2010 film ‘Immortals’ in which he played the Greek God, Aries.

In 2012, he became a popular face on the supernatural TV series ‘Teen Wolf’ after being cast for the role of Isaac Lahey. He met with a string of success on Television with his appearances in the short films ‘Drone’, ‘The Julliard of Broken Dreams’ and ‘Soon You Will Be Gone’, along with an outstanding performance in the TV series ‘The Originals’. To add to his profile, he has also lent his voice for the audiobook ‘Clockwork Princess’. Going back to his theatre roots, he took the stage again for the play ‘Off the Main Road’ at the ‘Williamstown Theatre Festival’. Recently, he guest starred in ‘Mercy Street’ and plays Troy in the series ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ (2017).

At six feet, with dapper looks and a casual demeanor, Daniel is quite a rage among young ladies and has stolen numerous hearts on and off screen. However, all didn’t come easy for him; he stated in an interview that it was difficult for him to make a shift from theatre to films, but with hard work and determination he overcame his inhibitions. Initially, he found working in front of the camera strange and unnatural, since both those genres demanded different qualities from an actor, but with passing time he mastered the art of acting on the big and small screen, alongside theatre.

Owing to his packed schedule and work commitments, Daniel hardly gets enough time to indulge in leisure activities. However, he always takes out time to hit the gym and keep himself fit. Daniel often takes a trip to London between work to meet his family and spend his vacations with them. When it comes to sports, he is a major soccer fan. Daniel also idolizes several actors in the industry and aspires to be one of the top actors in the years to come.

Daniel Andrew Sharman was born to British parents on 25 April 1986 in London. Not much is known about his family, except for the fact that his parents have always been his greatest support since childhood and have backed all his dreams. He presently resides at Los Angeles for work alone and travels to London during breaks. Regarding his love affairs, he first dated American actress and model, as well as his co-star, Crystal Reed, from 2011 to 2013, but the couple broke up and thereafter Daniel was in a relationship with model, Gigi Hadid, the following year, but their relationship didn’t last long enough and in 2015 he dated the English model, Asha Leo, for a brief period. He is currently single.
