Corinna Schumacher

Corinna and Michael Schumacher have two children. Their daughter, Gina-Maria, was born in 1997. She followed her mother’s footsteps, to become a professional horse-rider. The couple has a son, Mick, who was born in 1999. Mick is a professional racer, and is competing in ‘Formula 3.’

It was reported that he suffered injuries to head, in spite of wearing a helmet. A clot formed in his brain, and he went into a state of medically induced coma.

Corinna Schumacher withdrew from public eyes, after her husband’s accident. She stays by his side, and takes care of the treatment by herself. Schumacher sold her husband’s prized possessions such as his private jet, and a holiday home in Norway, to take care of the treatment. Schumacher avoids questions about her husband’s health conditions, and considers it to be a strictly private affair. She has also taken control of her husband’s business ventures, and manages it efficiently. Corinna Schumacher has put on a brave face, while dealing with the irreparable damage.

Corinna Schumacher filed a court case against the German magazine, ‘Die Aktuelle,’ for a headline that appeared on the front page of the magazine. It said, “Corinna Schumacher – a new love makes her happy.” The news item was about the romantic relations of her daughter, Gina-Maria. Schumacher claimed that the headline tarnished her image, giving the impression to readers that she had abandoned her husband. But the court refused to grant any compensation in the matter.
