Cloe Feldman was inspired by many YouTube beauty vloggers and learned makeup techniques from YouTube stars like iJustine and juicystar07. In 2011, when she was only in the eighth grade, she created a YouTube channel and started to upload her own makeup and beauty videos. Initially, she would use a webcam to record her videos, but later she started to become more professional and switched to high end cameras, often borrowing them from her mother or elder sister. Within a few months, she created a second channel, "Vivalacloe," to post vlogs. She soon started to get good response from her audience and her channels changed her life completely. She now has nearly 2.5 million subscribers on her main YouTube channel and 193k subscribers on her second channel.

The Meteoric Rise to Stardom
Despite the fact that Cloe Feldman has gained success on the social media, she was so shy in school that she had difficulties in making friends. In a way, applying makeup made her more comfortable about herself. She feels that in front of even five hundred people, she probably won't be able to do the things she does in her videos. A major motivation for Cloe to maintain her YouTube channel is her huge loyal fan base. Not only a number of young girls find inspiration in her DIY tutorials, a lot of her fans watch her channel regularly to get over difficult times. Cloe, who herself has faced similar situations when she was young, used to watch YouTube videos to find happiness after an awful day at school. As a result, she recognizes the influence she has on her fans and makes it a priority to cater to their demands. She is also very vocal about the different treatment women are often subjected to. Once when Instagram removed one of her pictures as they considered that parts of her body were exposed, she reposted the picture condemning the company's sexist policy.

What Makes Cloe So Special
Cloe Feldman is now a super glam beauty guru on YouTube with a huge fan following. However, she had to traverse a bumpy road initially. In December 2011, just within a year after she started her YouTube journey, her channel was hacked and all her YouTube videos were deleted. She lost all her 220k subscribers and millions of views. Her second channel, "Vivalacloe," was also deleted by the hacker, but she was able to recover the account along with the videos with help from YouTube support. Unfortunately, she was not so lucky with her main account. She spent a lot of time with YouTube support in the hopes that they would be able to restore her account. She even created a new account named "CloeCoutureXO." Eventually, her main account was recovered and she never used her new account. However, the videos on her main account could not be recovered as the hacker had deleted the associated email address.
