Clay LaBrant

Clay LaBrant was born on February 23, 2000, in Troy, Alabama. His father, Ken, is a retired Spanish professor who worked at the prestigious Troy University. Ken has also published a children's book titled ‘Uncle Kenny's Crazy Bedtime Stories.’ He now works as a business manager for his son, Cole.

Clay's mother, Sheri, had participated in the 28th season of the reality game show, ‘The Amazing Race’ aired on CBS. In the show, she was partnered with her son, Cole. She is now a housewife and spends most of her time raising her kids.

Clay has four brothers: Cole, Luke, Tate and Jack. He also has a sister named Lily. All his brothers are Vine stars and own their individual Vine account. Lily is a YouTuber and often posts videos on her self-titled YouTube channel.

It did not come across as a surprise to Clay’s parents when he expressed his wish to become a social media star as almost everyone from the LaBrant family is active on various social media platforms. It all began when Clay’s elder brother Cole created his Vine channel, along with two of his school friends, Baylor Barnes and John Stephen Grice. The Vine channel became popular in no time and that encouraged Clay to follow in the footsteps of his brother.

Initially, he used to appear in the Vine videos posted by ‘Dem White Boyz.’ However, he later started scripting his own videos. Apart from appearing on videos posted by ‘Dem White Boyz,’ Clay also created an Instagram account and slowly inched towards social media popularity. Thereafter, he created his own Vine account and being a well-known social media face helped him grow as a Vine star.

He started off by following the methods used by his brother and other Vine stars. Not surprisingly, he was compared to his brother on several times. Initially, Clay was not confident to script his own Vine videos and he was also apprehensive about his chances of making it big on the internet, already packed with established Vine stars. But he followed his heart and managed to make a name as a talented sketch comedy artist.

Slowly, his Vine videos started getting viewers and he joined the list of successful Vine stars. His fans then started posting many of his Vine compilations on YouTube. Clay then created a YouTube channel in 2013, in collaborated with his girlfriend Julia.

With just only a few videos and around 20,000 subscribers, his YouTube channel is yet to make a mark. However, many of his videos have managed to accumulate thousands of views. Some of his most popular videos are ‘Cinnamon challenge with Yoda,’ ‘Sour watermelon Challenge,’ ‘Lots of fan Mail,’ ‘Calling Random Fans,’ etc.
