Chuggaaconroy was born Emiliano Rodolfo Rosales-Birou, on born April 8, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona, US. His nickname is Emile. His mother called him “Mimikins” when he was a child. In 2012, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He has a mix of French and Mexican origins. Chuggaaconroy has also lived in Florida for a short period of time.

Chuggaaconroy is rumored to be dating "YouTuber" Shauntelle Kikue, better known as "MasaeAnela" or "Masae."

Chuggaaconroy grew up with a passion for video games and commenced his career as a gamer on July 26, 2006. He began his career by creating a 'YouTube' channel named after his online pseudonym, "Chuggaaconroy.” Often shortened as "Chugga," the name is said to have originated from the chugging sound of a running train, or from a random name generator on a 'Cartoon Planet' website.

Chuggaaconroy posted his first video on the channel on March 16, 2008. The first upload was 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl Boss Very Hard Clear,' which was a replay of the game 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl.' He primarily posts 'Let's Play' videos for various video games. The series offers a combination of gameplays and live commentaries on popular video games. His content is popular for being family-friendly, and his videos are often regarded as alternatives to those of vulgar gamers such as PewDiePie.

A couple of weeks after his first upload, Chuggaaconroy released his first RPG ‘Let's Play' series, ‘EarthBound.' This series consisted of 36 solo gameplay videos. The series began with the 'Let's Play' video 'EarthBound - Part 1: Meteor' and ended with 'EarthBound - Ending [Part 3/3] - Final Part.'

His next series was 'Mother,' also known as the 'Earthbound Zero' series, which started with 'Mother - Part 1: When Lamps Attack.' The series lasted for about a month and a half and concluded with the video 'Mother - Final Boss: Giegue [Part 2/2] & Ending.' This series is Chuggaaconroy’s least favorite work.

Chuggaaconroy also created a parody series to prank his fans on April Fool’s Day. The series consisted of poor-quality 'Let’s Play' footages of the game 'Mega Man 2.' The series is Chuggaaconroy’s shortest series, with only three episodes.

When Chuggaaconroy was young, he was told he was autistic. However, he is actually dyslexic. He did not speak for the first two years of his life. The first thing he uttered was the English alphabet.

Chuggaaconroy has amusia, commonly known as tone-deafness, which means he cannot distinguish between musical pitches accurately.

As a child, he would often be fascinated by the tick-tock sound of clocks in clock stores.

Chuggaaconroy is a cat lover. Two of his cats, Teddy and Kirby, were named after the characters in the game series 'Mother 1.' He also had a cat named after the character ‘Jak’ from the video-game franchise 'Jak and Daxter.'

Chuggaaconroy lived in a rented apartment for years before he owned his first house in 2015. His home loan was approved only because his name popped up on ‘Google’ before the very popular martial artist, actor, and culture star Chuck Norris’s name.
