Christine Taylor was born on 30th July 1971 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Her father Albert E ‘Skip’ Taylor III owned a security company, while her mother Joan was a homemaker. Her early years were spent in neighboring Wescosville, Pennsylvania. She has a brother called Brian. She completed her education from Allentown Central Catholic High School.
Christine Taylor got wedded to popular and hunky actor Ben Stiller on 13th May 2000. Their first meeting had taken place on the sets of the TV show ‘Heat Vision and Jack’. Both of them have acted together in a number of movies namely ‘DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story,’ ‘Zoolander,’ and its sequel, ‘Tropic Thunder,’ ‘Arrested Development,’ and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’ The couple stayed in Westchester County, New York. They have a son and a daughter named Quinlin Dempsey and Ella Olivia respectively. Due to some health reasons, both Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller prefer adhering to a vegan diet. Though they had been married for 17 years, the couple announced their separation in May 2017, leading to widespread buzz and rumors in the industry about their impending divorce.
Christine Taylor’s acting career begun quite early in the year 1989, when she started acting in ‘Hey Dude’. It was a children’s television series broadcast on Nickelodeon. She played the role of Melody Hanson, the lifeguard in the series. She appeared in that role until 1991. In the meanwhile, she made appearances in other programs as well. In 1991 and 1992 she remained confined to television only.
It was in 1993 that she made her first appearance in movies. Along with making general appearances, she also made great comic appearances in serials in television and also in movies. In the 2000s, Christine continued her successful run in movies with films like ‘Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,’ ‘License to Wed’ and the sequel to ‘Zoolander.’
