Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen’s professional journey in the world of glamour and entertainment started in her teens after she was spotted by a photographer in a surf shop where she was working at that time.

In 2004, Teigen became an IGN Babe and moving on she remained part of the American game show ‘Deal or No Deal’ as a substitute model during its second season in 2006-07. She graced the calendar cover of international men's magazine ‘Maxim’ in July 2007.

While modelling, she embarked into the world of television with channels like MTV, FUSE/MSG and ‘E!’ and worked as a contributor and recurring host. She featured in the American late-night talk show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ and in American reality TV series ‘America's Next Top Model’.

The November 2011 released racing video game ‘Need For Speed: The Run’ saw her playing a role. She was tagged "Our New Girlfriend” by Spike TV in 2012.

She hosted eight episodes of the American reality TV series ‘Model Employee’ during spring 2013 and played a relationship counsellor in the American sketch comedy TV series ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ in April 2014. She remained a contributor to entertainment news magazine ‘Extra’ with Mario Lopez and also in the celebrity news website ‘TMZ’.

Chrissy Teigen was born on November 30, 1985, in Delta, Utah, US in to Ron Teigen Sr. and Vilailuck Teigen. Her family relocated at different places during her childhood including in Hawaii, Idaho, and Snohomish, finally settling down in Huntington Beach, California.

She met singer, John Legend, in 2007 on the set of the latter’s music video ‘Stereo’ following which the two dated for four years before Legend proposed her in December 2011. He dedicated the song ‘All of Me’ to her, the 2013 music video which featured her. The two got married in Como, Italy on September 14, 2013 and welcomed their daughter, Luna Simone Stephens, on April 14, 2016 who was conceived through in vitro fertilization.
