Christopher Emmanuel Paul was born on 6 May 1985 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His parents are Charles Edward Paul and Robin Jones. He also has an older brother named Charles Paul. Both the brothers were taught football and basketball by their father, who is a former athlete himself.
