Chris Lanzon grew up with a passion for music. He learned singing and playing the guitar at a tender age. In 2014, he participated in the first season of the Australian talent-hunt show 'The Voice Kids' and received worldwide recognition. Chris’s incredible rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘The A Team’ helped him gain accolades on the show. On the show, Chris was mentored by American pop rock duo 'The Madden Brothers.' Chris was one of the finalists on the show. Despite not winning the competition, Chris successfully managed to build a huge fan base. The following year, he participated in the seventh season of the Australian edition of 'The X Factor' as part of the trio 'In Stereo.' Apart from Chris, the band consisted of Ethan Karpathy and Jakob Delgado. Their amazing rendition of Taylor Swift’s 'Style' in the audition marked the beginning of a remarkable journey on the show. Coached by Australian singer and lyricist Guy Sebastian, 'In Stereo' earned the eight spot on the show before being eliminated. In 2016, the band signed a contract with 'Warner Music Australia' and released their first EP ‘She's Rock n Roll,’ which was placed at the eleventh spot on the 'ARIA Charts.' The same year, Chris joined the 'Honest Tour' as part of 'In Stereo.' Chris has also attended a number of other tours and events, such as 'The Speed of Sound Launch Shows' (2016), 'The Main Event, Dolly' (2016), the 'Summer Party' (2017), and the 'Day In Day Out Tour' (2017). Chris and Jakob announced the end of 'In Stereo' in April 2018, after Ethan quit the group in December 2017.
