Calogero Lorenzo Palminteri was born on 15th May 1952 in the Bronx, New York. He and his two sisters were raised by their mother Rose, who was a homemaker, and their father Lorenzo, who was a bus driver. His family is of Italian descent. From an early age, he used to be a jokester and he decided to become an actor in his youth.
