Chase Goehring was born on November 2, 1995 in Long Beach, California, the USA. He was not much into music while he was growing up though he took piano lessons when he was in middle school as his parents wanted him to. During his high school days, he started taking a keen interest in music, and began posting his songs on YouNow. Chase Goehring started his musical career during his high school days. He watched YouTube videos and learned how to sing and play the guitar. He joined a rock and roll band as their keyboardist as he knew how to play the piano, which is similar to the keyboard. They also did a couple of shows. During his 8th grade, he began writing songs and uploaded them as videos on YouTube for his fans.
He and another member left the rock and roll band, and the duo formed their own group, The AcoustiKats. Chase started singing for the band for the first time. They performed on the streets of Franklin and got good tips.
Later, as he matured, his lyrics evolved and became thought-provoking. He writes all his songs based on his personal experiences. His performances combine vocals, sing-rap and rap with catchy lyrics to captivate the audience. His debut single ‘A Capella,’ released in 2015, was much acclaimed. In 2016, he released his first EP titled ‘Jaded’, which consisted of five singles including ‘Illusion’, ‘What is love’, ‘California’, and ‘Jaded’.
In 2017, he participated in NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent’, and finished 5th amongst the top ten contestants. He also competed on Season 3 of ‘The X Factor’ where he cleared the auditions but couldn't make it to the finals.
