Career & Fame

In spite of the success she enjoyed, Charlotte was also hugely influenced by the loss of her mother to Ovarian Cancer, in 1991. The struggle of seeing a loved one slowly lose to this horrific illness eventually led to depression and addiction issues. In 2003, Charlotte checked herself in for treatment at ‘The Priory’ rehab center in England, to get out of drugs and alcohol addiction. She was successful in her efforts largely due to the unconditional support from her family members.
