Her mother used to drive an hour every day to drop her to school. She played hockey, soccer and volleyball in school, and also took swimming lessons. After graduation, she enrolled into St. Louis University for higher studies. She later relocated to Los Angeles, California to look for better modeling and acting opportunities. She is trilingual and can speak English, French and Spanish. Via an Instagram post in November 2013, she confirmed fan speculation that she had gone through breast augmentation procedure three years ago.

Catherine Paiz began her career as a model when she was 16 years old, appearing for Victoria’s Secret for her first job. After that, she briefly worked at an ice cream parlor. She later modeled for Azzelia Swimwear after it was launched by model Rali Ivanova in 2013, and via more modeling gigs, made a name for herself as an established model. She also worked as a VIP manager for Arkadia Miami for some time. By this time, she had amassed a huge fan following on Instagram by sharing her pictures on the image sharing platform.

Even her boyfriend, Austin McBroom, had a huge fan base on Instagram. In January 2016, the couple decided to utilize their social media fame to launch the YouTube vlogging channel, 'The ACE Family', which was named combining the initials of the couple and their daughter, Elle, who was yet to be born. They posted the first video on the channel, 'The ACE Family Q&A', on July 27, 2016, one month after the birth of their daughter. Since then, they have turned it into a vlogging channel primarily, with occasional challenge and prank videos.

Catherine Paiz officially met Austin McBroom at a party in 2015, even though they knew each other for a couple years as both of them were attending St. Louis University at the time. About a month after the first meeting, he sent her a message, but she responded to it almost a month later. He then asked her out on a dinner, and even though she did not go on dates at the time, she decided to accept his proposal. After a few days, she invited him to go hiking with her. The two began dating soon after despite the fact that Austin was planning to transfer to East Washington University, and continued their relationship after he moved there.

After she unexpectedly became pregnant with their first child, they decided to keep the child and planned to have a family together. Their daughter, Elle Lively McBroom, was born on May 28, 2016. After more than a year, in August 2017, Catherine and Austin became engaged. In February 2018, Catherine, along with her fiancé and her daughter Elle, appeared on a vlog on YouTube to share the news of her pregnancy with her second baby. A couple months later, the proud parents roped in their close friend Kylie Jenner to organize the gender reveal of the new baby. Her husband posted a video on his Instagram in which the two of them popped pink confetti to confirm a second daughter as Jenner ended a suspenseful countdown.
