Camryn Harris was born on September 25, 2000 in Jackson, Mississippi to Mimi and Calvin Harris. She has a brother named Tra. Harris was fond of dancing from a young age. She loved the freedom of expression that the art form gave her. Slowly it became her passion as Harris found herself getting more and more involved in dancing. By the age of 10, Harris had become a member of the Dancing Dolls team. Ever since her initiation in the team, she has been a core member. Over the years, she has befriended numerous artists but is best friends with Crystianna Summers and Makalah Whineston. On the romantic front, it is rumoured that Harris is dating a guy named Kinley. However, nothing much other than this is known about the guy or their relationship.

Personal Life

When Camryn Harris first developed a love for dancing, little did she know that the love would soon turn into her passion, and eventually become a career option! She started dancing at six and soon realized that this was what she wanted to do her entire life. By the age of 10, Harris had enrolled herself at the Dollhouse Dance Factory, a Jackson-area dance team headed by Diana Williams. For Season One of the DDF held in July 2013, Harris was promoted to the position of Dancing Dolls Head Drill Master. Soon her excellence at the art form won her a promotion as a Co-Captain. Interestingly, Harris has competed in all of the Dancing Dolls competitions and has performed multiple solos. She has participated in all the Stand Battles and Creative Dances.

The Meteoric Rise to Stardom

In 2015, Harris competed against former team member Tamia Whittaker for the Captain’s position and won it eventually. Ask her about her best dance performance and she would promptly reply that her victory at Battle Royale changed everything in her life. It not only gave her a sense of achievement, pride, and recognition, but also silenced everyone who ever doubted her ability to dance. Today, she is an honor roll student and was awarded a spot at the Academic and Performing Arts Complex in the Dance Dept. She is one of the competitors in the Lifetime reality series ‘Bring It!’ Her future goals include finishing high school and going to college. She hopes to own a studio one day and dance for the famous singers, Beyonce and Chris Brown.
