Caity Lotz was born as Caity Marie Lotz on December 30, 1986 in San Diego, California, USA. She has an elder brother. Talking about Lotz’s love life, she is known to be in a romantic relationship with Maciej Zakoscielny.

Caity Lotz began her entertainment career as a dancer, touring with Lady Gaga and Avril Lavigne. She starred in several music videos including Selena's ‘Tell Me Something I Don't Know’, Lady Gaga's ‘LoveGame’ and ‘Paparazzi’, Faith Evans' ‘Mesmerized’, Kaci Brown's ‘Instigator’, JoJo's ‘Baby It's You’ and David Guetta and Estelle's ‘One Love’, to name a few.

She later on danced on the web series ‘The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers’ and toured with the hip hop theatre production company Groovaloo. Lotz then joined the girl group Soccx in 2005. A year later, they released their single ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ which was followed by ‘Scream Out Loud’ and ‘Can't Take My Eyes Off You’ in 2007 and 2008 respectively. The group’s debut album titled ‘Hold On’ also came out in the year 2007.

Caity Lotz first acted in the 2006 movie ‘Bring It On: All or Nothing’. She then appeared in an episode of ‘Law & Order: LA’ in 2010. The same year, she was cast as Stephanie Horton in the series ‘Mad Men’. Soon after this, she played the role of Officer Kirsten Landry in the drama series ‘Death Valley’. Then in 2012, the actress did the movie ‘The Pact’. A year later, she joined the cast of the series ‘Arrow’ as Sara Lance/ White Canary.

Lotz also did the movies ‘The Machine’, ‘Battle of the Year’ and ‘Live at the Foxes Den’ in 2013. After this, she got featured in the films ‘The Pact 2’ and ‘400 Days’. She then played a voice role in the drama ‘Robot Chicken’ in 2016. The same year, she started playing Sara Lance / White Canary in the series ‘Legends of Tomorrow’. In 2017, the American actress did the flick ‘Small Town Crime’.
