Brian Whittaker

Brian Whittaker was born on August 21, 1999 in Solihull located in Birmingham, England. He is of mixed ethnicity as his mother is from the Caribbean Island of Turks & Caicos and his father is from Vancouver, Canada. He has a sister. The neighborhood he grew up in was predominantly white, and Whittaker confessed to feeling left out as a child.

He is currently in a relationship with Zara Larsson, a Swedish pop musician. The duo met each other on Twitter when Larsson tweeted Brian’s photograph and her twitter following directed her to Brian’s account. However, they embarked on a relationship a couple of years later when they bumped into each other at the Paris Fashion Week. They have since appeared for a photospread together for Paper Magazine and are very open about their relationship. Their relationship is fondly referred to as the millennial fairytale.

Brian Whittaker joined Instagram early in 2014 and like others who used the platform started posting photographs of himself. Though moderately popular owing to his stunning looks and height, he was only known within a limited circle. He was soon spotted by a model on Instagram who recommended him to his talent management agency. It was then that Select Model Management signed a contract with Brian.

His career as a model took off and he began to appear as a model for local brands. He even walked the London Fashion Week and visited Milan to join the fashion show. Among his early achievements, he was featured in a lookbook by the UK Retailer Boohoo MAN. At this juncture, he started being recognized in the fashion circle. When he was at Trafalgar Square with Reece King, he was mobbed by many fans who requested selfies. Thus began a career of widespread fame.

Despite the attention he received, Whittaker fell into a bout of depression as he was constantly anxious about his appearance. He mentioned that he was stuck in a rut where he would go to school, return home, and feel like life had no purpose. It took a friend to help him return to normal. Once he bounced back, he decided to be completely honest about his life on social media. He even posted an unedited photograph on Instagram of himself with acne. This touched the hearts of many and was liked over 40,000 times. He has since then opened up about his insecurities to his followers, which only made him more popular. Whittaker often speaks about body positivity and encourages his followers to accept their appearances wholeheartedly. He also stressed the importance of sound mental health and the need to talk to counsellors.

After working for Select Model Management, he moved on to the IMG Models agency in 2017. Since then he has worked as a model for several big companies, including Calvin Klein, PRIMARK, Pause, Stone Island, and Philipp Plein. He was recently at the Paris Fashion Week where he walked for FentyxPuma by Rihanna. He was also the cover model for the Rollercoaster Magazine for their Spring issue.

His other magazine appearances include being the cover model for Coitus Magazine and Mandrawn Magazine. As a social media influencer, he continues to endorse his beliefs on Instagram and Twitter, where he has a huge fan following. He is currently pursuing his studies and plans to become a full-time model after graduating. He is also interested in photography and acting and hopes to improve his skills in these areas.

Brian Whittaker loves going to the gym and working out. He has also mentioned that his all-time favouirte artist is Wiz Khalifa and loves watching Narcos on Netflix. Since his father is a pilot, he has travelled all over the world as well.

He loves eating different cuisines and finds Japanese food the most enticing of all. He recently spent a month vacationing in Japan.
