Brennan was born on October 20, 1994, in Burlington, Canada. His mother was a teacher. He has a brother named ‘Trevor.’ Brennan has trained in various dance forms like jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, acro, contemporary, and many more. Brennan has always been passionate about dancing. To explore the art further, he attended several performing arts institutions across the 'Southern Ontario.' He is one of the notable alumni of the 'National Ballet School of Canada' and 'Springboard Danse Montreal.'
To accomplish his dreams of becoming a globally acclaimed performing artist, Brennan further received a degree from the ‘Joanne Chapman’s School of Dance’ in Brampton. He also holds a degree in 'Bachelor of Fine Arts' from the prestigious ‘Juilliard School' in New York City. Simultaneously, he joined a dance group ‘Fresh’ as a teacher and choreographer. He has been a part of ‘The Barrow Group Theatre Company.’ To polish his acting skills further, Brennan attended the ‘LB Acting Studio’ in Toronto.
It is interesting to note that dancing was not Brennan’s first career choice. He is extremely good at science and before he discovered his latent talent of dancing, he wanted to become a ‘marine biologist.’ He was serious about his choice and hence attended various universities to get into high-level science programs.
Brennan commenced his career at a young age of 16. With a deep passion for dancing, Brennan began contesting in several dance competitions. At one such competition, a talent agent spotted him and later approached Brennan and signed him to his roster. The agent forwarded his name for a trial audition for an upcoming television series. Brennan gave the audition and nailed it. He landed a role in the 'Temple Street Productions' series, ‘The Next Step.’ Aired in 2013, Brennan played the lead character ‘Daniel’ who was a contemporary dancer. He appeared in the first five seasons of the series. This ‘Family Channel’ hit series gave Brennan a chance to combine both his passions - dance and acting.
The same year he appeared in the short film ‘The Swing of Things.’ In 2009, Brennan was cast in the youth series ‘Dance Academy.’ He appeared as one of the main characters ‘Daniel.’ In the web series, ‘Spiral,’ Brennan played the character of a strategist named as 'Clark.'
Brennan has contested in a couple of talent hunt competitions. He has participated in Canada's Got Talent, Degrassi: The Next Generation and has won the title of ‘Mr. Onstage New York’ in 2006. In 2008, he was announced as the ‘Mr. Showbiz.’ The same year he bagged a silver medal at ‘World Showdance Championships’ held in Riesa, Germany.
Apart from competitions, Brennan has been part of many festivals. He was cast in the production of ‘King of the Camp’ at the 'Toronto Children's Festival.' He later appeared in ‘Fall for Dance’ on the 'New York City Center Stage.'
Brennan owns a collaborative 'YouTube' channel with his childhood friend, Brittany Wynn. They titled the channel as ‘Brit and Bren.’ As they both wished to venture into filmmaking, they created this channel. The main idea of the channel is to make autobiographies and survival based films. Brennan does most of the video editing while Brittany is the web designer.
Some of their collaborative projects are Graped, Wildcard Wednesday, and Survival Sunday. They usually release their works biweekly. Their works exemplify an incredible combination of art and skill.
