Brenna D'Amico

Starting from 2012, Brenna was associated with improvisational theatre for some time. She also took training at LA Casting Director Workshops. She made her debut in films with the Kenny Ortega directed and choreographed American musical fantasy television film, ‘Descendants.’ This Disney Channel film featured her in the role of Jane, the daughter of Fairy Godmother. The film included Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, Cameron Boyce, Kristin Chenoweth and Sofia Carson in starring roles. She then lent her voice to the character of Jane, in computer-animated short-form series, ‘Descendants: Wicked World.’ This series was based on the film, ‘Descendants,’ and ran for two seasons till March 3, 2017. It became quite popular and was nominated for the ‘Choice Animated TV Show’ award at the 2016 ‘Teen Choice Awards.’

The second instalment in the ‘Descendants’ franchise, ‘Descendants 2,’ also saw Brenna reprising the role of Jane. The film premiered on Disney Channel on July 21, 2017, and was also simultaneously transmitted on Disney-owned networks Lifetime Movies, Lifetime, Freeform, Disney XD and ABC. The third instalment in the Descendants series, ‘Descendants 3,’ will also feature her in the character of Jane. The film is planned to be premiered on the Disney Channel sometime in mid-2019. Apart from appearing in the Disney Descendants movie franchise, Brenna also stars in the television series titled ‘Overnights.’ Brenna plays the role of Sandy in episodes ‘Nothing Stays the Same,’ ‘Open Book,’ ‘Never Meant to Fall in Love,’ ‘Lost in the Crowd’ and ‘Overnight.’

With time she has made her presence felt in different social media platforms as well. She posts cover songs and random videos on her YouTube channel. She is active on micro-blogging site Twitter as well. She has a huge fan following on Instagram too.

Brenna was born on September 28, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois, US, to Dave and Shannon D’Amico. She was raised along with her sister Aubree in Chicago. Not much information is available on her childhood and educational qualifications. According to some sources, in August 2016, she started dating American actor Cameron Boyce, her co-star of the two Descendants television films. She has learnt to play guitar and the piano; she likes to play the instruments during her spare time.
