Blakely Bjerken

Being the sister of award-winning young gymnast Whitney Bjerken, Blakely started her childhood career with her first appearance on Whitney’s channel in ‘Blakely’s first soccer match’ video. She later grew to create and maintain a channel for herself where one could find Blakely’s own vlogs. To pursue her dream of becoming the best gymnast in the country, she joined the ‘Atlanta North Stars Gym’ where she flexes and bunny hops her way to success.

Blakely is one of the most inspiring and adorable child gymnasts in her country. She is very considerate when it comes to her family, and respects her sister very much, as she is her career idol. To see young people like her in action shows the true evolution of human kind which most of us fail to see as we are caught up in our busy, tedious lives. The future generation, given the social media’s role in promoting talent within a short span of time, can display a tremendous improvement over the previous generations as this provokes competition.

Blakely is one of four children in the Bjerken household. She has a one sister, Whitney Bjerken and two brothers, Sterling and Braxton Bjerken. The family also has a dog who answers to the name ‘Houston.’ Blakely was hit by a car in June 2015, and was advised to wear a cast for about 17 months, after which she made an amazing recovery and continues to pursue her dreams as a gymnast.
