He developed an interest in singing at an early age. By the time he was twelve, he had also learnt playing the guitar from his uncle. At fifteen, he wrote his first song. At the age of sixteen, he gained a lot of attention after he won the Denbo Diamond Award, which is Oklahoma’s top award for young entertainers.
