Beth Behrs was born as Elizabeth Ann Behrs on December 26, 1985, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. Her mother, Maureen Behrs is a first grade teacher and her father, David Behrs is a college administrator. She has a younger sister named Emily Jeannette Behrs. Behrs started doing theatre at the age of four. She then studied at the E.C. Glass High School before attending the Tamalpais High School in the year 2001. Later on, she enrolled at the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco. After this, she went to Los Angeles to learn acting at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. As a student, Behrs played competitive soccer for a period of nine years. The actress got engaged to Michael Gladis on July 10, 2016. She founded the ‘SheHerdPower Foundation’ to provide relief to victims of sexual assault.
Beth Behrs got her first movie role in 2009, in the teen humour ‘American Pie Presents: The Book of Love’. She then got featured on television, in an episode of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’. After this, she did the movie ‘Adventures of Serial Buddies’ and the dramas ‘Castle’ and ‘Pretty Tough’ in 2011. The same year, Behrs was cast in the co-lead role of Caroline Wesbox Channing in the TV series ‘2 Broke Girls’. Soon after this, she played an alien girl in the flick named ‘Route 30, Too!’ Then she lent her voice to the character of Carrie Williams for the movie ‘Monsters University’.
