He was also a member of the dance team, ‘Team NueEra’. Benny has spent most of his time in New York and Connecticut.
Benny started dancing when he was young. He grew up watching Michael Jackson, and considers the late pop star as his idol. After reaching a certain age, Benny decided to make dancing his full-time career. He used various social media platforms to promote his then upcoming YouTube channel.
In 2011, he created his first YouTube channel, ‘kay jewlz’. After a few initial hiccups, Benny’s channel started to gain prominence. The videos that he posted in the channel gained viewership which led to a few subscribers as well. In an attempt to increase the channel’s popularity, Benny worked towards restructuring his dance moves.
His idea of presenting a different style of hip-hop moves paid dividends. He succeeded in his attempt and the number of his subscribers too, shot up. Benny then created a new YouTube channel in 2014 and named it ‘King Imprint’. He added a variety to his content by posting prank, challenge and comedy videos, along with his usual dance videos. This way he made sure that his channel covered all the bases in terms of entertaining his fans and viewers.
The first video that he uploaded on his new channel was titled ‘Bobby Shmurda Dance’. In the description section, he had claimed that the dance moves used in the video were inspired by some of Michael Jackson’s famous moves. Next, he uploaded his performance that he had delivered during the auditions of the reality show, ‘America’s Got Talent’.
Benny’s next set of videos was based on a new style of dance, the whip dance. This particular dance form was created by another famous YouTube personality and Benny imparted a new dimension to it. After posting a couple of ‘Whip dance’ videos, Benny uploaded a video in which he had choreographed for the song ‘Almost Lose It’ by Trey Songz.
