Andrew belongs to a closely knit family, where he has been brought up with his elder brother. His father has been the driving force and mentor who has steered his career from the day he presented him his first guitar at the age of three.
His success on social media has made him a sensation and heartthrob of many of his fans. However, he has kept his personal life and fans in two separate compartments. He has been dating Instagram star and model Renee Herbert lately. However, there is no serious relationship on the cards as yet.
Andrew Bazzi was born on August 28, 1997 in Dearborn, Michigan, US. He comes from a middle class American – Lebanese family. He started his schooling in PCEP Michigan and later moved to Los Angeles with his father to pursue a career in music in 2014. He completed his high school from Santa Monica High School in 2015.
Bazzi was interested in music from childhood and was encouraged by his parents to develop his talent. His first live performance was in the sixth grade talent show, where he sang Bruno Mars’ ‘Talking to the Moon’. He was also a part of his church choir.
He started playing the guitar at the age of four and posted cover songs on You Tube by the time he was 15. He went on to create a Vine within a Year that was a stepping stone to success.
He was influenced by artists and groups like Guns N’ Roses, Duran Duran, Justin Timberlake and Bryson Tiller. He also was inspired by fellow Viner SelfieC and internet sensation Kenny Holland.
Andrew Bazz gained popularity on social media and had over 1.5 million followers on his self titled You Tube channel by 2015. His Vine Featured Track titled ‘Bring Me Home’ was the first release of its kind that went viral.
He soon established himself as a star and was featured on the Fancy Cars’ track ‘Fun’ in 2016. Encouraged by his initial success, he released several singles on his channel during the next two years that include ‘Got Friends,’ Alone,’ Sober’ and ‘Beautiful’.
He self-released the single ‘Mine’ digitally in the United States and Europe in October 2017. The song failed to make it to the charts initially but gained popularity after becoming an internet meme and made its debut on various charts, including number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. It receiver a platinum certificate in the US, Canada, Sweden and Australia by 2018. The song has been streamed over 70 million times across the globe and has recorded over 11 million views on You Tube.
During this period he also released three singles titled ‘Gone,’ ‘Honest’ and ‘Why’ that were equally popular. He collaborated with American electronic dance and music produced Christopher Comstock, popularly known as Marshmello and was featured as a special guest on Camila Cabello’s ‘Never Be the Same’ tour of North America.
He established his own record lable called Iamcosmic and released his debut studio album titled ‘Cosmic’ which was simultaneously released on the major record label Atlantic Recording Corporation. The album is inspired by his obsession for space and peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 chart in 2018.

His hit singles include ‘Alone,’ ‘Sober’ and ‘Beautiful’ in 2016; followed by ‘Mine’ in 2017 and ‘Why,’ Gone,’ ‘Honest’ and ‘Beautiful’ in 2018.
He was part of the Camila Cabello – ‘Never Be The Same Tour’ and Justin Timberlake –‘ Man of the Woods Tour’ in 2018.
