Baskin Champion

Baskin Champion was born on July 1st, 1995, in Birmingham, Alabama. Her father, Greg Champion, was a doctor and a graduate of the University of Alabama. She is the second of four children of her parents and has an older brother named Josh, a younger brother named Luke, and a younger sister named Abby. Her sister is also a model. She attended school in her hometown and entered Auburn University to pursue an Apparel Design course. While in college, she was part of the Phi Mu sorority. However, she took a break from her studies after her sophomore year to intern in Los Angeles as a fulltime model. Stating that "most female models work during the ages of 16 to 24", she mentioned that she could not just pass the opportunity.

Baskin, who is quite adventurous, climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to celebrate her 17th birthday. She also enjoys surfing. She has a pet dog named Charlie Champion, which has its own Instagram profile. She is also a football fan and supports Alabama.

While still in the eighth grade, Baskin Champion began her modeling career by representing Soca Clothing Boutiques during Birmingham Fashion Week in her hometown in 2012. In 2014, she was crowned 'Miss Alabama Teen USA'. Two years later, she was named 'Miss Photogenic' in the 'Miss Teen USA' pageant, following which, she mentioned in an interview that she had already reached a number of her goals, including moving to New York and Los Angeles, and modeling for bigger companies such as Hollister and Frankies Bikinis. She had previously travelled from New York to Miami to take modeling assignments from Wilhelmina Models. Following her sophomore year at college, she and her sister relocated to Los Angeles to pursue modeling fulltime. Along with her sister, she participated in a 'Sports Illustrated' casting call for its 2018 swimsuit edition.

It is speculated that Baskin Champion and Justin Bieber met through model and actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, elder son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, who is dating Baskin’s sister Abby. They were all present at the premiere of Schwarzenegger's upcoming movie with Bella Thorne, ‘Midnight Sun’, one week before the two were spotted together. According to a report on 'E! News', Bieber has been hanging out with her for a time and the two went to his house that night, leaving the rest of his friends. The source also claimed that they spent time together several times in the last few weeks, visiting multiple clubs, including Avenue nightclub in Hollywood. The timing of all these has been particularly interesting because at the time, Bieber and his on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez had decided to take time off each other. Reportedly, he was upset about the decision to part ways and had been trying to keep himself busy until things worked out with Gomez. However, the report was based on comments from her fans, and the identity of her boyfriend has not been revealed. According to cosmopolitan.com, her night out with Bieber was a carefully staged act orchestrated by the Canadian singer in order make Selena Gomez jealous.
