Kunpimook Bhuwakul was born on May 2, 1997 in Bangkok, Thailand to Kochakorn Bhuwakul and her husband. His father died when Bhuwakul was very young. He is a Buddhist. He has one younger sister and two older brothers, all of whom are popular dancers. He attended Pramoch Wittaya Ramindra School and won the ‘Rain Cover’, a dancing competition, when he was ten. He speaks Thai, English, and Korean fluently. Currently, Bhuwakul owns three dogs.
Bhuwakul trained under JYP Entertainment for three and a half years before joining Got7. His first pre-debut appearance was in the flick ‘Fairy Tale Killer’ in which he appeared as Wong Wai-han's son. He then appeared in an episode of reality-survival show ‘WIN: Who Is Next’ that aired in September 2013. The following year, Bhuwakul’s band Got7 released their debut album ‘Identify’ along with two EPs ‘Got It’ and ‘Got Love’. This was followed by two more EPs, namely ‘Just Right’ and ‘Mad’.
In 2015, Bhuwakul was made the permanent host for Mnet's ‘M! Countdown’. That year, he also appeared in the Korean-Chinese web drama ‘Dream Knight’. A year later, the Thai actor cum singer contributed to the variety show ‘Real Men’ as well as KBS' ‘Idol Battle Likes’. He also made a cameo appearance on SBS’ program ‘Don't Dare to Dream’ the same year. With the band, he released two studio albums titled ‘Flight Log: Turbulence’ and ‘Moriagatteyo’ that year.
In 2017, Bhuwakul joined ‘3 zap’ as the show’s cast member. The same year, his band Got7 came up with their EPs ‘Flight Log: Arrival’ and ‘7 for 7’. Then on March 12, 2018, they released another EP ‘Eyes on You’ that included the hit single “One and Only You". On April 9, 2018, Bhuwakul returned to Thailand for a military draft.
