Asher Angel

Asher Dov Angel was born on September 6, 2002 in Arizona, the USA, to Coco and Jody Angel. His mother has followed a hands-on approach to help him live a balanced life. His father, who has always been traditional, often reminds him not to lose focus from education as it is important for future success. Asher has a sister named London Bleu Angel and a brother name Avi, who is also an actor and fashion model. Information regarding the actor’s education is missing from the web. Asher Angel became interested in acting at the age of five. He made his acting debut in 2008 in the film ‘Jolene.’ He then acted in multiple plays including ‘Seussical,’ ‘The Little Mermaid,’ ‘Into the Woods,’ and ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Desert Stages Theatre in Scottsdale before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 12. Then in 2016, he appeared in one episode each of ‘Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn’ and ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,’ respectively. The following year, Angel was cast in the lead role of Jonah Beck in the drama series ‘Andi Mack’. Currently, he is all set to play the main role of Billy Batson in the screen adaptation of DC Comics' Shazam. The movie is set for release in the year 2019.

Asher Angel has also appeared in the short films ‘How do you do that Voodoo?’ and ‘Hate from a Distance.’ In 2017, Asher Angel stated that he wouldn’t let his music skills go untapped. He also said that he was simultaneously pursuing his singing and music career alongside acting. In June 2017, Angel gave a live performance at the Future Disruptors showcase.
