Apryl Jones

Apryl studied and worked as a medical examiner initially, but later pursued a career in music. She slowly discovered her talent and became part of a girl group called ‘Callareign’ in her hometown. This was the beginning of a new career path for her.

Apryl was determined and passionate which motivated her to move to Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world. The girl group fizzed out eventually as both members relocated. After moving, she made her appearance in the reality singing contest, ‘American Idol’ but she failed to make it to the top.

Apryl also tried out for ‘Making the Band’ but it too didn’t work out for her. Apryl also appeared on the show ‘Search For The Next Doll’ where she auditioned to be a part of the newly formed, Pussycat Dolls. Failing to make an impression on the judges, Apryl didn’t get selected.

She was later introduced to a famous artist and went on tours as a backup singer. The two got involved and decided to star in the Vh1 hit TV series, ‘Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood’.

Apryl continues to remain a popular television personality and has a large fan following.

April Jones was born on 15th December 1986 at Chicago in an average, middle class family. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Radiation Science and worked at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

As a result of her passion for music, she gave up her medical career to move to Los Angeles. She was confident that she had the talent to make it in the industry and relocated to follow her dreams. She initially stared off in various music competition shows like ‘American Idol’, ‘Making the Band’ and ‘Search For The Next Doll’ but her fame was short lived and she didn’t make the cut.

April continued to dangle in the entertainment industry and became the backup singer of famous Hip Hop artist, Omarion. The two were introduced by her personal trainer and hit it off. Their friendship soon developed into a relationship and they became parents to two children. The couple was madly in love and gave their fans hope of a beautiful wedding someday. Their first born child was Megaa Omari Grandberry (born 2011), followed by A’mei Kazuko Grandberry (born 2015).

The couple’s choice to star on the Vh1 reality series proved fatal to their relationship, resulting in separation. They continue to be friends and maintain a family atmosphere around their two children.
