Annamarie Tendler was born on June 9, 1985 in Connecticut, the USA. She studied hairstyling at the Make-up Designory and Vidal Sassoon after graduating from high school. Later, she went on to study photography at the Parsons School of Design. Tendler then attended The New School and received her bachelor’s degree in writing and psychology from there.
On July 5, 2014, she married popular comedian John Mulaney. Their wedding took place at the Onteora Mountain House in New York. Actor Dan Levy, who is also their friend, officiated the ceremony.
Annamarie Tendler started her career as a makeup artist and hairstylist in New York City. In 2007, she created her blog under the name ‘The Daily Face’ on Tumblr. Her blog became popular and she eventually joined MTV Style on their styling segments.
Currently, Tendler’s makeup and hair tutorials are immensely popular. They have been featured in numerous renowned magazines, such as ‘Glamour’ and ‘HelloGiggles,’ among others.
As a makeup artist and hair stylist, Tendler has worked in numerous TV series and comedy specials, such as ‘The Old Man and the Seymour,’ ‘John Mulaney: New in Town,’ ‘CollegeHumor Originals,’ ‘John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid’ and ‘Aziz Ansari: Dangerously Delicious.’ She has also served as a host of ‘The Other Side’ for the organization Amy Poehler's Smart Girls.
As of now, the American diva and celebrity wife also runs her own business called "Silk Parlor". The business is dedicated to the development of hand-crafted Victorian style lampshades.
On October 11, 2017, Annamarie Tendler accused actor/director Ben Affleck of sexual harassment on social media though a tweet. She claimed that the actor had groped her at the 2014 Golden Globes event. She further stated that she would love to get an apology from him.
