Andrew McCollum

Andrew McCollum’s career took off when he was a student at the Harvard University. He became friends with Mark Zuckerberg and they attended classes together, specially the classes on operating systems. They spent a lot of quality time in Harvard discussing various projects. Andrew, along with Adam D’Angelo (co-founder and CEO of Quora), also launched a file sharing system that was linked to Facebook. It was named as Wirehog. The team initially faced a lot of challenges but overcame them most of the times. The priority of the team was to deliver optimum service to its users worldwide.

Andrew left Facebook in 2007 to complete his education in Harvard. However, this decision was quite a bold one as the site was doing extremely well at that time and he was already a successful web developer. In 2009, he developed and started the site JobSpice. Andrew McCollum married Gretchen Sisson in the year 2012. Sisson is a sociologist by profession. The couple listed their wedding party members in CoffeeScript (a dialect of the programming language JavaScript). The festivities of the day were outlined in XML (Extensible Markup Language).
