Andrew Fontenot was born on October 5, 1996, in Conway, a city in the state of Arkansas, the USA, in a multiracial family. He has two older siblings.
Andrew Fontenot became interested in music and rapping very early in his life. On November 13, 2012, he set up his self-titled YouTube channel, hoping to publish his music online and garner fame through social media. However, he has rarely posted content on the channel since then. Realising the potential of the short-video-sharing site Vine and live-streaming-video site YouNow, Fontenot decided to use them instead. He had garnered a loyal following on Vine with his six-second-long hip-hop performances when the app was still available. On YouNow, he is a popular user with over 6 million views and 223 thousand fans.
He is very active on musical.ly, a Chinese video social networking app. He has over 30 thousand fans on it and 466 thousand hearts. Not only he posts snippets of his own work, he also uploads videos of him lip-syncing and performing to other artists’ music.
Fontenot’s first collaboration with friend and fellow social media personality Derek Couture was the 2016 single ‘A Milli Billi Trilli Freestyle’, a track originally performed by 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa. Fontenot and Couture’s rendition has accumulated over 300 thousand plays on SoundCloud. Their next collaboration was a remix version of Rae Sremmurd’s ‘By Chance’. It has more than 90 thousand plays on SoundCloud. Fontenot has also made a cover of G-Eazy's ‘Far Alone ft Jay Ant’.
Fontenot worked with Couture on his first original track, ‘Arrive at the Party’ as well as on ‘Pablo’. The 2017 release ‘Been on It’ is their most recent collaboration. Besides Couture, Fontenot has also worked with BirdieBands on ‘It’s Nothin’, CjD on ‘Easy’, and Johnny Guazz on ‘Nights’.
